Somebody, pinch me! Good things seem to be happening really fast right now. Today, I recieved notification from a film festival in San Francisco...

Your film was one of 57 we chose from over 1100 entries!... All of the programs will have one screening with a Question and Answer (Q/A) with the audience. <<<
I'm so excited about this, I'm switchin to decaf. Not just the exposure for the video and the music, but the chance to get up on stage at the Q&A and talk about the video - why we made it, how we made it, and why it's important to me.
I hope that those of you living in or near the SF bay area can make it! The video will be shown on the first night of the festival as part of the KickOff party at the Victoria Theater in SF, on Wednesday, August 8th at 9pm.

This has certainly been a big year for Michael J. Downey the artist! I am glad to have been a part of it. Your talents have taken you around the world and your vision has gathered the well deserved attention of the media everywhere and the SF Film Festival. I can see that your music is touching the hearts and the ears of many as it helps to bring together cultures of Asia and the western world. Continued success to you my frend!
