UPDATE 10/16/07 - This week, "america" hit's Number 6 on the national charts!

The new Michael J Downey and the World single, "america" has debuted the FMQB Adult Contemporary radio charts as the 1 Most-Added single across the USA for the week of 8/22/07! KEAO -Maui, Hawaii.

This week, "america" was added to the playlists of more radio stations than any other AC single on the FMQB charts, including Gwen Stephani, Maroon 5, and others.

I want to thank my "TEAM" for all their hard work to get us there - Steve Levesque and the crew at Luck Media, Tom Mazzetta at Mazzetta Promotions, Mark LaSpina at FMQB, and more. You guys are awesome! Also, Producer- David Longoria and Robert Eibach at Del Oro Music for your great work in the studio, "re-shaping" america into what it is today .

UPDATE - 8/28/07 - This week, "america" was the 2 Most-Added AC single in the country, and has moved up to number 50 on the FMQB AC charts!

UPDATE - 9/5/07 - This week, "america was again the 2nd Most-Added AC single in the country, and has moved up to number 41 on the FMQB AC charts!

UPDATE - 9/11/07 - This week, "america" reaches number 33 on the AC charts. FINALLY! IN THE TOP 40!!!

UPDATE - 9/18/07 - This week, "america" reached number 27 on the AC charts. Top 30!!! Thank you radio stations across America for spinning "america"!

UPDATE 10/02/07 - I've lost track! There's just too many radio stations that have picked up and are playing "america" across the nation that I can't list them all here. This week, "america" hits Number 20 on the AC charts. Thank you radio stations, and thank you listeners. It always makes my day when you drop me a line and say 'hello' too!

UPDATE 10/09/07 - This week "america" has reached Number 13 on the nationwide AC charts. This is kinda like those Mars rovers that they weren't sure were gonna make it there, and then they did, and then they lasted a month, then a year, and they're still going! I'm just speechless, and really happy that "america" is being heard across the country.

UPDATE 10/16/07 - "america" reaches the Top 10!!! This week it's Number 6, and was played 851 times at radio stations across America. Thank you radio stations for spinning "america," and thank you all for listening, buying the CD, and downloading from iTunes!
